Spring Concert Info

Please monitor the band website and BAND app for any changes that might be needed to the information below. It is an exciting time of year for TAD Band!

Rehearsal Day One: Thursday, March 13

• Beginning Band members will rehearse during second period. Beginning Band students report to the band room at the dismissal of 1st period.

• The Advanced Band will rehearse during 7th & 8th period. Students will report to the band room at the dismissal of 6th period.

School Concert & 5th Grade Concert: Friday, March 14

• All Advanced and Beginning Band students will report to the band room following the moment of silence and pledge (7:50am.) We will present the school concert at 8:15 and the fifth grade concert at 9:15. Students will be sent back to regular schedule classes as soon as we finish the fifth grade concert.

• Dress: TAD Band t-shirt (this year’s) and blue jeans without holes, rips, or tears

Rehearsal Day Two: Wednesday, March 19

• Beginning Band members will all report to rehearsal during third period. Beginning band students report to the band room at the dismissal of 2nd period.

• The Advanced Band will rehearse during 7th & 8th period. Students will report to the band room at the dismissal of 6th period.

Spring Concert for Community: Thursday, March 20

• Students must take ALL concert instruments & equipment home after school on Thursday afternoon to transport to the performance. The TAD Band room will close at 3:00pm and will not reopen.

• Location: Treadway Gymnasium at Elizabethton High School

• Dress: Formal uniform (this year’s band t-shirt, bibbers, band jacket, tall solid black socks, black band shoes–no gloves)

• Warm-up: 6:45pm

• Beginning Band in bleachers in seated order

• Advanced Band in performance setup

• Performance Time: 7:30pm
